HomeLabHub Headless Lab Systems
Engineering Philosophy
About HomeLabHub
We believe that self-hosting and home-lab engineering should be backed by hardware specifications you can trust.
Why We Built HomeLabHub
Building a reliable home lab involves navigating a minefield of hardware compatibility questions: Does this barebone N100 support DDR4 or DDR5? Can this 1U chassis fit in a shallow 15-inch audio rack? Will this consumer NVMe SSD survive ZFS sync write amplification without power loss protection?
Traditional e-commerce platforms treat server parts like consumer commodities. HomeLabHub was engineered as a domain-driven headless architecture where every part is validated against its interconnected components.
Our Technology Stack
HomeLabHub is architected with modern open-source software:
- Frontend Application: Astro (Server-Side Rendering on Node.js) with zero-compromise performance, vanilla CSS design tokens, and a warm editorial aesthetic.
- Commerce Engine: PrestaShop 9 Open Source handling authoritative catalog records, inventory stock, cart state, customer accounts, and order processing.
- Domain Logic: Strict TypeScript engines executing hardware compatibility matrices, TDP thermal summing, and goal-driven build suggestions.
